How to get COVID test in Vietnam

To get a COVID test in Vietnam, you need to follow the steps below:

Step 1: Visit the authorized COVID test establishment as listed above.

Step 2: After the health workers perform the protection and disinfection steps, you will be taken for specimen as follows:

• Blood: take 3 – 5 ml of blood into the EDTA anticoagulant tube.
• Respiratory fluid: sample the upper and lower respiratory tract fluid with a sampling stick
  • Upper respiratory tract fluid: Pharyngeal fluid, pharyngeal fluid, throat rinse fluid.
  • Lower respiratory tract fluid: Sputum, alveolar fluid, endotracheal fluid, pleural fluid, lung membrane, bronchial, alveolar fluid.

Step 3: Get result certificate after a certain period of time.
